Peer Review Process

PeerReviewProcess

Authors submit their manuscript through the OJS Education and Information Technologies website. (EIT). The editor checks the manuscript with Plagiarism Checker software to examine the possibility of plagiarism. The plagiarism check results are used to determine whether the manuscript is ACCEPTED or REJECTED.

The editor submits the manuscript to the reviewer through a double-blind review. The reviewer submits the review results to the editor to be forwarded to the author. The author revises the manuscript according to the reviewer’s notes and suggestions and returns the manuscript to the editor through OJS. The Copy Editor checks the manuscript to ensure it complies with the editorial board's policies. The proofreader checks the manuscript to ensure it complies with PUEBI (General Guidelines for Indonesian Spelling). The layout editor checks the manuscript to ensure it adheres to the template. The journal manager is ready to publish the manuscript according to the publication schedule.

Double Blind Peer Review is a method of peer review for a scientific work that will be published in a scientific periodical, where the identities of the reviewer and the author are concealed, so that the reviewer does not know whose article is being reviewed and the author does not know who is reviewing their article. This method is used to maintain the objectivity of the review results.

The review process takes approximately 2 to 3 weeks. Authors are requested to actively monitor the progress of the manuscript review through OJS and to be willing to follow the applicable procedures.
