PENGENALAN TEKNOLOGI INFORMASI DATA INPUT OUTPUT DAN PEMPROSESAN

Abstrak

The purpose of an information system is to collect, process, store, analyze and distribute information for specific purposes. This system consists of input in the form of data and  instructions, as well as output in the form of reports and calculations which are sent to users or other systems. This research was motivated by curiosity about developing information technology. The method used in this research is a qualitative literature study. Information systems operate within a specific environment, with feedback mechanisms that control their operations. It is important to understand the difference between data, information, and knowledge. Data are raw facts that have not been organized, while the conclusion is that Information Technology is an important strategy that can provide a competitive advantage if used properly. Understanding information systems will help to adapt quickly to change 
and those who are able to utilize IT optimally will have greater opportunities to develop and  adapt amidst rapid technological change.
