Abstrak

This article provides a comprehensive review of the types of memory and storage media in computer systems, as well as the important role of each in the computing process. The three types of primary memory, namely register, primary memory, and secondary storage, are explained  along with the characteristics, functions, and current technologies associated with storage 
devices. In addition, memory management concepts and magnetic and optical storage devices are discussed to provide an in-depth understanding of how these devices work and effectiveness in improving computer system performance
